Let me start by saying this. I was trained to take health seriously. Degrees, research, peer-reviewed everything. So when someone introduced me to dōTERRA in 2015, the idea that a few drops of plant molecules could calm inflammation, steady my nervous system, or help me sleep felt... cute.
Then they worked.
Not in a maybe-I'm-imagining-this way. In a my-entire-system-just-unclenched-and-came-back-online way.
What surprised me most was how much science backed up what I was feeling. dōTERRA has mountains of research on purity, chemistry, and real physiological effects—sleep, immune function, emotional wellness, hormone regulation, blood sugar balance. The list goes on.
This isn't the wild west of wellness. It's evidence plus lived experience.
And, can we get a little bit woo for a second? Plants are alive. They have frequencies. They've been talking to human cells for millions of years before we figured out how to measure it. So yes, I love that dōTERRA has the science. The testing. The citations. It matters to me that they're the gold standard.
But I also love that when someone tells me frankincense helped them through grief, or wild orange pulled them out of a spiral, or lavender finally let their kid sleep. Their body knows. That's data too.
